Last night we had a celebration/graduation party for the kids and families of LKP (Little Kids Preschool). If you didn’t know, for the past 2 years we have been a part of a small homeschooling co-op with 5 other families. It really was a fun experience and Haleigh loved going to “basement school” twice a week. She called it basement school because we set up the “classroom” in the basement of a friend’s house. We all took turns teaching through the year. Haleigh treasures the friends she has made there and they have certainly grown and learned a lot together. I have posted a few pics of Haleigh graduating but refrained from group photos since not everyone has given me permission to post photos of their children on my blog! ;) And now they are “big kids” as they all kept saying and ready to move on to preschool next year. I say this with bittersweet tears. My baby girl is getting so big but I just love watching her learn and grow.
In addition to the celebration we discovered that James loves light sabers!! Oh my goodness did they have fun playing with those. The friends house that we were at has two boys and I kept seeing the light sabers come out…I counted ten total and was cracking up that they owned that many. It worked out perfect for the party as all of the kids were running around with them and having a blast. I’m wondering when James will be getting his first now because he was talking about it before bed last night!! Too cute!
