So, as you know the kids aren't here. I must tell you that it has been nice! Of course I miss them, don't get me wrong. But the quiet has been nice after the surgery and it has been so much fun to be with just mom and Grandma. I don't have any pictures to put on right now...sorry.
Instead I thought I would write to my readers that are interested in all of the fashion blog posts I write about...oh wait, this is my first!! LOL But anyway, Sunday we went to Kenwood and shopped. While there I tried on the most comfortable pair of boots I have ever put on my feet. I'm not normally this person, who just falls in love with a pair of shoes but this time it was different. I have never put on this brand of shoes before but after how well the boots felt I would be inclined to try more. SUPER comfortable! So, if any of you out there are looking for a new pair of shoes and need serious comfort for you feet, you should check out Dansko.
Here are the boots that I am saving up for...

Thanks for your prayers and thoughts for my surgery. I appreciate them. I seemed to be especially impressed with laughing gas. I was shaking so hard when I went in, they gave me some to get me feeling more comfortable. Boy did it make me more comfortable! ;) Immediately after my surgery was over, I called Chris (at least that is what I am told) and ranted and raved about how we needed some Laughing Gas stocked up in our house.
I am doing fine. Sore and taking it easy. I am grateful for mom and maw and all of the support the are giving me. They are the best caretakers! It’s nice to be taken care of!

Steelers game…
To my Pittsburgh hatin’ pals…you know who you are---the ones that just can’t refrain from makin’ a snude comment when you see any resemblance of Steelers amongst us… STOP here and do not look anymore. The following pictures are full of Steeler colors, logos, and proud fans! With that said, if you decide to look any way, you should revoke all rights to make any comments of a nature not approving to the Anderson’s and their NFL team of choice!
We had a great time on our annual trip to the game with Scott and Jamie. We were in the nose bleed section but that didn’t matter one bit. The terrible towels were flying and the fans were tons of fun. The game was a little too close for comfort but happy we left with a win.
I’m curious how many facebook profiles we ended up on b/c oddly we got stopped by a lot of random people to have our pictures taken----apparently some people LOVE our attire! Makes me laugh.
Thanks to the GRANDS for taking care of the little fans.
Photo opp with Steely McBeam…
Can you spot Chris and Scott amongst the crowd?
Here we go…
And then I put my camera away and enjoyed the nachos (Thanks Uncle Eric!), and the game!!
Another trip to Blooms and Berries…
Doesn’t everyone get dressed like this for hayrides and pumpkin’ pickin’?!
I love her carefree soul. She had a great time in her hat and boots.

Hangin’ with the neighbors
I have know idea if Julie and Eric check my blog but just in case, we just love hangin’ out with you guys! We had fun! I didn’t post any pics of you, or Nate, b/c I’m not sure how you feel about me doing that—no photo release on file! But, we had fun cooking out and playing in the leaves!
Blooms and Berries
Ok, Blooms and Berries, our favorite fall spot. This weekend we went with Scott and Colton to pick a punkin’. Good thing the boys were there to carry them b/c they were heavy!!

Blooms and Berries
This is was our first trip to Blooms and Berries last week. We went just to check on the Sunflower field. We had fun walking through it but it wasn’t in full bloom. I’m hoping to go back next week to check it out and see if there will be more blooms. It’s so pretty out there!
When James got in the outhouse, he said, “close the door.” I guess he really wanted some privacy…lol!! Haleigh did as she was told, as you can see!
