James sure does love Snowball. And Snowball sure does love him!! So sweet.
It was fun getting all dressed up for the Cinci Heart Ball. We were surrounded by Cardiologist and Neurologists, and Doctors of many sorts. None the less, we had a good time and it was fun to be a part of a great cause. It’s funny that the race Michelle and I are running on March 18th is also sponsored by this group. This must be my year to support heart health!
The kids did great without us. They loved having Janet here and they survived just fine. It was really nice to go out…we need to do it more often. Chris and I giggled at our classy van. We rolled up to valet with our mini loaded with popcorn on the floor from the kids earlier in the day! Ha!
They had lots of fun auctions…lots of high rollers…some auctions went for as much as 11,000. We bid 10,500 but just couldn’t go any further than that---totally kidding!
We were entertained by these fire breathing people while we waited for everyone to get seated for dinner. Dinner was good…beef and mahi. Chris had to get the vegetarian meal…a portabella mushroom and purple potatoes (you can imagine Chris’s delight). Everything was yummy.
Afterwards there was dancing next door at the Red Haute Ball Room. It was loaded with light toys and such (sunglasses, necklaces, rings, sabers, etc). It was fun to watch everyone dancing around with them on. Although all the flashing was a bit hard on the old eyes!! LOL We left the ball with tons of things for the kiddos to play with when we got home! They loved their new things…especially the light up sunglasses.
