New Years Eve
The kids playing on the iPad before bedtime. They were so excited to have Colton spend the night. They are all so cute.
Hat-py New Year!! It seems that we have developed a tradition here at the Andos—crazy hats required for NYE. We had a blast with our crazy hats, playing “Dotsy,” and of course Just Dance! My cheeks still hurt from laughing.
This is our ridiculous attempt of a group shot. Don’t you just love our “Red Solo Cups” that we used to toast in the New Year?! Classy here at the Andos…lol!! The first picture had us all doubled over in tears from laughing. Caesar made his grand appearance in the shot…just the wrong end facing the camera. Happy New Year!
2011 was great…looking forward to what the new year has in store.
Christmas in Weirton
Had a great time visiting with everyone in Weirton.
Loved watching Uncle Eric get his Wii!!
And loved watching the cousins play!
I didn’t ask…just took a picture and laughed.
Christmas Day
Their two gifts they repeatedly asked for—the pink guitar and the tractor! Loved watching their faces when they saw them.
It was a danger zone—there was about 3ft of driving room in the house but by golly, they were giving it a go. Thank goodness he was able to go outside for a while to try it out.
Christmas Eve Service
One of my favorite things to do during the Christmas season is go to the Christmas Eve service. I was so happy to have my whole family there. This is a fond childhood memory of mine and I hope it will be the same for my kids. There is something so special about being surrounded by the light of candles and everyone singing Silent Night. Michelle and I had a great time planning this service for the children. Miss L. Toe was just great!! And the children were so sweet, as always. I love watching them as I tell them a story…their eyes, their wonderment.
This was Haleigh feeding the reindeer food and writing one more quick note to Santa before she went to bed.
Christmas Eve
These shots are from Christmas Eve day before the Christmas Eve service at church. We let the kids open presents from JJ, Maw, and YaYa. The kids had fun opening some early gifts. Jimmy ranked this go round with the “American Doll.” She still has no clue but that is fine by us! They both loved all of the toys the received. The highlight of this day is when Haleigh got through opening all of her gifts she said, “I love all of my gifts but the best gift of all is my family.” This was so spontaneous, and sweet. Yep, I got teary. She’s such a sweetie and she couldn’t be more true! Family is the best gift of all!
Snowby had to have her gift too.
Haleigh said “wow, I got a dollar!” Look close and you will see that it’s a 20!
