Snow

Chris and I woke up to the kids screaming and pulling out their snow suits!! We were surprised at how little there actually was when we took a look out the window. We were expecting several inches based on the squeals of the kiddos. But they were excited none the less :-)
So they played on the deck for a whole. There was more on the deck than in the yard anyway.

We had a great night with the kids. We got them all ready for bed. And while I had them in the bathroom, Chris put their tickets on their pillows. He had the car running with their goodies in their seats and Christmas music playing in the background. They thought it was hilarious that they got to go out on their pajamas. James kept saying, "I love this day."
They both loved it. We all did, actually.

The nutcracker

I loved the nutcracker. But I want to go again when I'm not on the verge of puking the whole time. I got a taste of the stomach bug yesterday. But they had the best seats--we were 4 rows back, dead center. And Haleigh loved it. Itwas a great production. I loved watching her face at what she saw on stage.
