I asked Haleigh what I should take a picture of today.  She immediately said, “Blankie!!”  She set up the scene for me!  I’m actually glad she suggested it.  I’m not sure how old Blankie will look 30 years from now so it will be nice to remember how it looked before it was too awful torn and tethered.  That Blankie is such a source of comfort for her.  It seems to be an instant calm the second it touches her skin.  I love to watch her with it when she is drifting off to sleep.  She will lay it on her belly (silky side up) and just rub it with her little fingers.  If she has a boo boo, she will lay it on there to help the hurt go away.  If she she is sad, she loves on Blankie.  If she is happy, she loves on Blankie!  God love her and God bless Blankie!  :)

I also took this photo op as a time to practice with my focus.  I took several pictures with my focus points to see the differences.  Can you tell where I had my focus point?

Corner of the chair where blankie meets the arm ... left side. :) Good job!

Jackson calls his a "nana". He wraps an edge around his finger and rubs it across his lips to comfort himself and go to sleep. They're precious miracles, our babies.

Scott had a blankie that he probably used until he was 8 or 9. He also would lay it on his arm or knee or what ever injured part he would have.

Chris really never had a security blanket, but he had a BIG Dino that he hugged and hugged that the poor thing looked strangled...Once I put it in a garage sell and believe me, he wasn't happy about that at all...He couldn't understand how I could ever think of doing such a thing!
