Had a great time at the Make-a-Wish Dinner! What a fun way to support such a wonderful cause. It’s so easy to go about everyday life and forget about how thankful we should be. My heart is grateful for the health of my family and children. My heart is also amazed at the strength and courage of parents of wish children that I was fortunate enough to meet. I admire them so much!
Man, getting this picture of all of us was painful…LOL!!!
I am thinking this was the highlight of Jamie’s night…Ian Ziering from 90210 and Dancing with the Stars was a guest at the Gala. will never forget the grip she laid on my arm when she spotted him! I thought the ceiling was coming in for sure! He was there because he knew someone involved with the Make a Wish. They solicited him to use his star presence during the auctions to get some more money. Here he is helping auction off the plates that some of the wish kids made. These plates were so cute! Homer Laughlin let the kids do them and then they were all auctioned off at the dinner. You can see in this one picture that one of the ambassador's of the evening was holding his up to help get it sold. How could anyone say no to that!!
And here we are holding what the four of us won…a trip to Disney. Who knew that we would be leaving with something like that. :)
