The first pictures are of the night before when the kids planted their “magic jelly beans” in the garden beds. James was certain that he was going to grow a jelly bean tree. They were so cute at church, telling everyone about their magic jelly beans (although no one had a clue what they were talking about). The Easter Bunny made his stop at our house while we were at church (I like this b/c I want the kids to remember the true meaning of Easter so their initial focus is going to church not on the baskets—don’t get me wrong—I love all the bunny stuff too!!). The first thing they did when we got home was look to see what grew…and suckers magically had appeared!! So fun! James was so happy with his sucker he didn’t even look for his basket right away. That boy is a sugar addict. But once he realized what he was missing after Haleigh found hers, he was excited to find his too! James LOVED wearing a tie and he said he wants more. He did NOT want to take his suit off all day. And Haleigh, well, she went through about 6 dresses before she decided on one! Her final decision was cute! There is no questioning that the girls loves to get dressed up!
We had a wonderful Easter Day! Thankful for such wonderful family and friends.
