This trip to WV. Haleigh doubled over and had a nap.
She HAD to paint someone’s nails. Maw was the first client.
The spag sauce begins…cooking down the tomatoes and cutting up the yummy veggies to add to it.
The panoramic view of the bakery.
Working the sieve here…mom was cranking old school style with Granny’s (my great grandma) sieve. the other one is much easier to use!
The kids got to help add the spices and oil.
Thanks goodness for the big ol mixer. Makes mixing 44 pints of sauce much easier.
The kids carved a pumpkin. Haleigh drew it on and we carved it exactly how she drew it.
Clearly the kids were pooped after the trip. they were both asleep within 30 minutes of the ride back to Ohio. Chris got Haleigh’s casts all fancied up for her.
These were from the cooking class the kids today! They LOVED it!! They made cheesy potato soup and apple blossoms. The actually ate the soup.
