These pics are from Saturday night when I took Haleigh to Neiderman’s Farm. What a fun place. We roasted hot dogs and marshmallows, went through the corn maze, and saw lots of farm animals. Our favorites were the piggies!
Here they are carving the little pumpkins with Chris. They chose to carve these rather than the big ones.
And here is Haleigh getting ready for school. They had their costume parade around the block. It was so cute. The parents just stood around the block in different places and handed out the treats. They had so much fun. Haleigh chose to be Dorothy for school. She picked out --and purchased-- a Daphne costume to wear for Trick or Treat but we thought Dorothy would be better for school since Daphne had a heavy wig.
This is Haleigh’s class. They are darn cute! Poor kids had no clue wear to look b/c there were so many parents lined up trying to take pictures. I had to take a picture of her friend that was dressed in all black!! Haleigh is still talking about his costume.
And here they are….marching for treats. Haleigh was super happy to be line leader.
And now it was time for our neighborhood trick or treat. Haleigh had nothing to do with her Daphne costume…she decided to go with her old Tiana dress. That girl…she definitely has a mind of her own. James wasn’t too keen on wearing his airplane either. But he was all about wearing his cousin Eddie hat. It’s so funny because they picked out these costumes weeks ago. And they were so excited about them. We finally convinced James he had to wear his for candy—you can bribe that boy to do a lot when candy is involved. Chris got them all loaded up in the wagon and they were on their way!
I think Haleigh had just as much fun handing out candy as she did getting candy. She liked looking at the other costumes…
Hope you all had a fun Halloween. Can hardly believe that it is November!!!
